Can you tell us about your current role and responsibilities

My current role as Supply Chain Manager for APAC, my goal is to plan and implement supply chain strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize productivity, minimize costs, and improve customer satisfaction. I work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth flow of materials and information across the supply chain. My responsibilities also include managing inventory levels to maintain adequate stock while minimizing excess inventory and associated costs. I also lead and develop supply chain teams to achieve business objectives.

Can you tell us about your journey at Clear Edge

My career journey has been nothing short of amazing! I began as a Customer Service representative, but quickly evolved into a Sales Coordinator. From there, I took on the additional role of Regional Sales Manager for two years, where I was responsible for the entire North India region. As my career progressed, I was promoted to Senior Manager of Sales Support, which was an incredible opportunity to lead and mentor a team of talented individuals.

In 2021, I assumed a strategic role as the Supply Chain Manager for the APac region, where I focused on aligning our business objectives with a targeted approach to optimize our supply chain. The primary aim was to enhance our overall operational efficiency and support our growth in the region.

In addition to my various roles, I was also fortunate enough to be a part of the TechApps team in 2017-18. This was an incredible experience that allowed me to work on cutting-edge technology and collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the company.

What is the driving force behind everything you do… what keeps you motivated and driven daily?

One of the most amazing aspects of working at Clear Edge is the sense of being part of an extended family. The camaraderie among colleagues is simply outstanding, and this is not limited to just the Jaipur office but extends to the entire global team. I have been fortunate enough to receive numerous opportunities for growth and support from all members of the team. It’s truly exhilarating to be part of such a dynamic and supportive work environment!

What advice would you give to new employees joining the organization

It is essential to focus on learning and improving your skills to achieve success in your career and life. It’s important to remember that there are no shortcuts to success in life or career. Hard work, dedication, and a willingness to learn are essential ingredients for achieving success. How do you like to spend your time outside of work

I spend time with my daughters Ira (6 months) & Jyostna (4 years). When I’m not busy being a doting parent, I indulge in my passion for technology by reading up on the latest tech journals and articles – I’m a bit of a geek, you see! And when I’m not geeking out, I love to explore my culinary skills and whip up some delicious meals – I’m a total foodie at heart.

Please tell us about a situation where your recommendation helped make the world safer, healthier, and more productive

There are so many examples of how we’ve helped our customers, but one in particular really stands out. We had a customer who was struggling with their belts – they were only lasting about a month on average! But we didn’t give up. With the help of one of our amazing salespeople, we dug deep into the working conditions and discovered the root cause of the problem. It turned out that a particular material was needed, but it was uncommon. We contacted a few suppliers and found exactly what we needed. And now, our customer’s belts are lasting an incredible 3-4 months! Needless to say, they’re thrilled with the longer belt life, and we’re thrilled to have retained such a big customer for the long term.
